Hey Phil, thanks for stopping by my blog! At the moment, you can’t subscribe to a person’s whole blog but you can tick the box at the bottom of the comments section to subscribe to a post so you get an email update when someone new comments. Subscription is on the way (I’m married to the VOX tech support person!) and will definitely be there when VOX is out of it’s Beta phase and properly launched.
I do a kind os subscription through my web browser and RSS feeds (I use Flock). For pictures, if you have a flickr account, it’s dead easy to get photos on your posts at a decent size. Not sure how it works but I’ve got mine set up. If you want to know the details, you can email support and probably Sam will email you and give you instructions!

Welcome to the City of Voices, Phil! I use a site called Bloglines to subscribe to people’s blogs. It’s totally free. Keeping up with new posts is very simple as it shows you the blogs with new content in bold font. Check it out http://www.bloglines.com

http://overland.voxtropolis.com/ hes just been over to mosaic in US so told me all about it and whats going on with it but i dont get what you guys do and what your involvement in it all is?? i have a few mates in sheffield ones phil ugachuckwoo dunno if he goes to ur chuch or nethin hehehe ye u may av noticed me and mates are all called phil hehe its so random!!!!

cheers for that nathan!!! i will defo give that a go!!! i dont no if any one could help me but is it possible to get your own custom background designs on? i saw that nathan had a different one that i hadnt seen before just wondered how! man i have so many questions!! no idea on anything!!!

Phil, when you’re logged in, click on the tab reading “Look and Feel.” There you’ll find all the currently available Voxscapes. Some of the Voxscapes have additional features which you can access under “Current Voxscape Options.” I hope that helps!

I wonder if we met your friend in LA. We were there last week (we have pictures on both our blogs). We went because we’re in the process of planting a Mosaic Sheffield community. We got connected to Mosaic really randomly and are now part of the Mosaic Alliance which links churches and church plants around the world. There are currently 3 of us but next week we have our first gathering in a pub in sheffield and there should be up to 10. Very early days!
I’ll look out for Phils wandering round sheffield!

ye u might av met them!!! if u check out my myspace phils on that as well! think i have pics of him on there or he has his own page 2!! there were 4 guys who went from my church in preston, just looking at everything that is going on over there and erwin is coming out here next year to speak at a big church youth event that we have going on for all the churches in preston/lancashire area!!! i could talk forever on everything thats going on with church cos theres so much! i will try get some pictures posted up on here!! its really cool 2 here about everything thats going on! sounds ace!

You cannot yet fully customise your VOX but we are going to be bring more and more customisation options as the site develops. We’ll also be adding to the range of voxscapes (themes) to choose from.
